The iron manganese (FeMn) alloy sputtering target is dark-brown color and is composed of a mixture of iron and manganese materials. Its impurity elements are mainly carbon, silicon and other elements. According to the different carbon content, iron manganese can be divided into medium carbon iron manganese and low carbon iron manganese. The manganese element in the iron manganese alloy is an indispensable element in the iron and steel industry. As the saying goes: “No manganese cannot make steel.” About 80% of manganese is used as a deoxidizer for steelmaking. It can refine the grain of steel and improve the hardenability of steel; iron and manganese are often used as alloy agent to enhance the atmospheric corrosion resistance of steel and improve the forgeability and rollability of steel. Wear-resistant high manganese steel is widely used in the manufacture of equipment components for excavators and crushers. When smelting stainless steel, iron manganese alloy can replace the scarce metal nickel. However, in some special research applications, R&D personnel need iron manganese alloy that contain as few impurity elements as possible to achieve research and development purposes. The iron manganese alloy we produce are made by hot pressing and sintering two metal powders with a purity of 99.9% in order to meet customer requirements as much as possible.
