Cobalt chromium molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy target is silvery white colour, mostly circular in shape, with purity of 99.9% and 99.95%. Cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy is a kind of cobalt based alloy, and it is also a kind of Stellite alloy that is resistant to wear and corrosion. The first cobalt based alloy is a binary cobalt chromium alloy which later developed into a ternary composition of cobalt chromium tungsten, and later cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy. Cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy is a kind of alloy with cobalt as the main component, containing a considerable amount of chromium, molybdenum and a small amount of alloying impurity elements such as nickel and carbon, and occasionally also containing iron. Depending on the composition of the alloy, their coatings are mainly used to improve the hardness and strength of the surface of castings and forgings.
