The copper indium gallium(CuInGa)alloy sputtering target is one of the most important materials for producing copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin film batteries. Xinkang can produce copper indium gallium targets of various proportions through the vacuum melting method. The copper indium gallium rotating target can also be produced by smelting method (with the advantages of high density and low gas content). At present, only Xinkang can produce copper indium gallium target by smelting method, which is Xinkang's advantage technology.
Copper indium gallium selenium (CIGS) thin film batteries have the characteristics of stable performance, strong radiation resistance, and relatively high photoelectric conversion efficiency. They are currently the first of various thin film solar cells and are close to the conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cells, the mainstream products in the market. It is precisely because of its excellent performance that it is called the next generation of cheap solar cells internationally, and it has broad market prospects in the application of ground sunlight power generation or space micro-satellite power supply.
The following picture shows the microscopic metallographic detection of the copper indium gallium sputtering targets with different composition , the average particle size is <100 microns.
